In Animal Crossing New Horizons, you can decorate and remodel the entire island, with one exception. There was the possibility already in the former part New Leaf.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons offers endless possibilities to design your island. If your predecessors are primarily limited to the interior, you can put your hand on your island almost anywhere in the current part for the Switch. Only one place that unfortunately cannot be adapted: The service center and the place in front of it look exactly the same on all islands with the ACNH Nook Miles Items. Which is particularly surprising, because this could be changed and adapted in AC: New Leaf.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons fans mourn this New Leaf feature
No limitless freedom: In Animal Crossing: New Horizons can not only be decorated and planted, but even the island itself can also be redesigned by terraforming fans. But there is one thing that is rock solid. There is no shaking at the service center and its looks. Even the place in front of it remains as it always has been.
In New Leaf, it was different: In the previous Animal Crossing New Leaf, there was nowhere to be changed, adjusted, and embellished, but the older game had one function ahead of the newer New Horizons spin-off. The look of the service center could still be adapted there. And in a very diverse way.
Fans are hoping for a comeback: Because Animal Crossing: New Horizons is all about adapting the entire island to your own ideas, the service center looks like a foreign body and thorn in the side of many designs. If the service center and its forecourt could also be adapted, the luck would probably be perfect for many.
Accordingly, a lot of Animal Crossing fans naturally want Nintendo to introduce an option in the future that will make this possible. Just as it used to be in New Leaf, or maybe even better and more extensive.
Most people cannot understand why this has been so inconsistent. Almost all possibilities were expanded with the newer franchise part, only here there was a step backward. But who knows, maybe that will come.
More importantly, the froggy chair is probably the only thing more AC fans want. How wonderful it is and why so many people are hoping for his return to Animal Crossing New Horizons, I wrote in this Gamepro article.
