Capsules boost are an important element of the core gameplay of Rocket League. This boosting allows you to block or intercept shots and rival cars through the field, and allows you to jump through the air for dramatic tricky shots. But boost is consumed very fast, so you have to drive over boost orbs in the field regularly to fill up your stock. No matter which car you play, Rocket League komodo or octane, it's vital to master some controls and tips.
All drivers can find boost orbs, and after collection it takes valuable seconds to respawn. It may not be like a big deal to wait a few moments for a boost orb, but the Rocket League matches can be quick and angry. Wait to get yourself a boost orb and paralyze the offense of your team, giving your opponents a major advantage during those few seconds you are away.
Maintain a good stock of boost, but do not leave your way to collect it either. Up to 100 boost units per match can be collected. Common boosting orbs on the field will restore 12 units each in approximately four seconds. Large orbs restore 100 boost units but only spawn in 10 seconds at the four corners of the field. Therefore, you should not go out and collect it unless you are fed by the ebb and flow of the match.
Don't get gullible and boost simply because you can; remember that with your teammates you share these orbs. Only when you notice opponents walking for one and want to deny them should you consider collecting the excess boost.
Super-speed boosting is an excellent way of crossing the field. However, once you reach your top speed, you will not burn more faster. By keeping on and forward you can keep your supersonic pace, so keep your boost as soon as you hit sonic speeds.
