At 70 def I have more options to choose from when it comes armour. More specifically, I'm thinking about changing my body armour RuneScape Gold. For now, I'm using an Granite Body and in all honesty I'm not much of a fan of it, however it gets the job done I guess. What I'm trying to find out is Barrows armour worth it just for training? I'm not the richest (currently only 1.2m) and it's somewhat pointless to me to keep fixing it even when I'm not doing do anything else like PK.
Do you want to go with the Granite Body, or is there a different option that I'm even sure of? Perhaps it's worth investing in Verac's Brassard, for example? Barrows armor can be pretty good and is almost certain to weigh a lot less than granite, and some of it includes pretty decent prayer benefits (not the reason you'd want them).
In the long run, repairing is going to run far beyond the cost of a Bandos chestplate even if only rarely employ Barrows however it will last an extremely long time even for those who don't engage in any combat. For training, it's still quite good and fifteen hours of training is a significant amount of time and experience. It's definitely worth it if can't afford Bandos right away, since the initial price of 1 mil and then another 1 million every fifteen hours is a reasonable cost.
A little bit of investigation will show that a car is 270k in repair costs at Bob. This should mean the price of Bandos Chestplate, 16 mil? I'm not sure how to calculate the amount of repairs you'll require (mostly because I'm not feeling well today) until you reach 270000 (or less If you're using POH stands for armor) however it is quite a number of lives Buy OSRS Power Leveling. This is bolded in order to avoid my delusional ramblings: make sure to invest in Barrows.
