The mid-range is also pretty shallow, with the vast majority of players who have qualified for The Open already over in the UK getting ready for the carnage that theyll face at Carnoustie.TPC Deere Run is fairly straight forward layout that is the typical second-shot course. The landing areas are generous, the rough isnt extremely penal, and there is only one water hazard in play on the entire course. Iron play will be where players make their money this week, and the majority of approaches will come with only a wedge or short a iron in hand. We also usually see good putters pop here, as the majority of the field will have a higher than usual greens in regulation rate.Expect to see the winning score somewhere around 20-under parand for there to be birdies galore. Johnson is likely to be extremely chalky in GPPs, as well, but the combination of elite course history and perfect course fit make him virtually impo sible to fully fade, even in large-field tournaments.JoaquinNiemann ($10 Mark Fayne Jersey ,400)There arent many players on tour who are striking the ball better than wonder kid Niemann right now, and this is a prime week for him to break out with his first career win. Niemann ranks tops in the field in overall ball striking, and while his putter is the weak point in his game, it is by no means a huge hindrance like it is for other guys who make their names off their ball striking. Niemann is viable in both cash games and GPPs, and I will look to load up on him in each format.Others to Consider: Bryson DeChambeau, Steve Stricker (Cash)Mid-Tier Targets Joel Dahmen($7,600)Dahmen continues to trend in the right direction coming off fourstraight rounds in the 60s last week at The Greenbrier, which led to a career-high T-5 finish. He has been carried by his ball striking, ranking second in both strokes gained: approach and strokes gained: tee-to-green last week, as well as ranking in the top 10 in birdies. He actually lost strokes putting, which is concerning, but Adam Larsson Jersey he should show up on leader board yet again if he can improve slightly with the flat stick while maintaining his iron excellence.Plus he rocks a bucket hat out there, which is undoubtedly good vibes for your lineups.Brandon Harkins($7,300)Ive been riding Harkins in cash games over the past month or so, and there is no reason to hop off the bandwagon now. Harkins is the exact type of player to target in the low-$7,000 range in cash games at an event like this where its hard to feel good about rostering pretty much anyone in this range. He has fourstraight top-40 finishesand played well at the Travelers Championship a few weeks ago (T-38), which is a very similar layout to TPC Deere Run.Others to Consider: Keith Mitchell, Si-Woo Kim, Harold VarnerMORE DFS: Lineup Builder|Strategy Value Targets David Hearn ($7,300)Its summer time and were at a short course, which can only mean one thing: its David Hearn time! I cringed writing that, because, well, it'sHearn, but TPC Deere Run is a great layout for a short knocker like Hearn who excels with approaches under 150 yards. He has a decent track record hereand even popped with a runner-up finish back in 2013, which was good enough for his best career finish. While he is way too volatile for cash games, Hearn is worth some sprinkles in large-field GPPs.Norman Xiong($6,600)Last week, Golf Twitter was in a frenzy hyping up young Norman Xiong and he proceeded to mi s the cut. However, his ball striking was absolutely incredible, and his downfall was an ice-cold putter. His price of $6,600 is just too cheap for a player who has the talent that big Norm has, and he should be able to have a respectable showing in this weak field as long as he maintains his ball striking at this layout. He is likely to be Andrej Sekera Jersey a chalky option, but he offers incredible savings for your tournament lineups.Others to Consider: Dylan Meyer, Blayne Barber
