I'm guessing you've said the new Trial of Style thing was initially conceived as a micro-holiday however buy WoTLK Gold, it appears to have evolved into something more substantial. What caused that change? Is there just a certain level at which you feel this is just too big to be just a micro-holiday?

Yeah. It was more of a feeling, that micro-holidays, to be honest it's a term we came up with very recently. So the actual definition of what they are will be discussed in the near future. To date the events have been for a period of one to three days, as well. The Trial of Style felt like a big enough event that you wouldn't want to skip it. It's less likely to be missed, even at three days. We extended it out to five days . And, while doing so, declared, "Well, let's not call this a micro-holiday. Instead, we'll label it as"an event." We also open ourselves to release it in a different time frame at any time, in accordance with how it plays when players begin playing it.

In a broad sense, it seems like new technology is a constant aspect of this expansion. Is that something that you think is an ongoing focus going forward?

I definitely think that. This isn't simply a Legion thing. We may have done more of it in Legion and later, but ever since the start of WoW we've always been adding tech into the game. The game didn't allow us to complete a daily challenge until BC was released after which we decided we wanted tech for the same reason WoW WoTLK Classic Gold. Our water didn't look very nice for a while until suddenly, it was looking quite good. It's not uncommon to see technology implemented.
