  • After completing the purchase of the Vane Pumps, it is necessary to connect the valve pipe and so on for the vane pump, so what points should be paid attention to when connecting the valve pipe?

    Common valve connection methods include: flange connection, butt connection, butt welding connection, threaded connection, ferrule connection, clamp connection, self-sealing connection and other connection forms.

    1. Butt welding connection: Both ends of the valve body are processed into butt welding grooves according to the requirements of butt welding welding, corresponding to the pipeline welding grooves, and fixed on the pipeline by welding.

    2. Socket welding connection: Both ends of the valve body are processed according to the socket welding requirements, and are connected to the pipeline by socket welding. Flanges are divided into raised surface, flat surface, convex and concave surface.

    The valve is installed between two flanges, and the valve body usually has positioning holes to facilitate installation and positioning. The valve and the two pipes are directly clamped together with bolts.

    1. Trapezoidal groove type: Use oval metal rings as gaskets or high temperature valves. Flange connection is the most commonly used connection form for valve tops.

    2. Lens type: The gasket is the shape of the lens and is made of metal. According to the shape of the joint surface, it can be divided into flanges on both ends of the valve body, corresponding to the flanges on the pipeline, and the flanges are fixed in the pipeline by bolts.

    3. O-ring type: This is a newer type of flange connection. It is developed following the emergence of various rubber O-rings. It is more reliable than ordinary flat gaskets in sealing effect.

    4. Concave-convex type: high working pressure, medium hard washer can be used.

    5. Smooth type: used for valves with low pressure, which is more convenient for processing.

    6. Tongue and groove type: gaskets with greater plastic deformation can be used, which are widely used in aggressive media and have better sealing effects in Fixed Vane Pumps.
